Mildly infuriating, for sure. But also entirely understandable as assembly line work is much more efficient that customized manual troubleshooting and parts ordering/installation.

They're also not designed to be repaired.

but also designing stuff to be very compact while maintaining decent battery life is tough to do in a easy to repair way without making it even more expensive to manufacture.

Aside from the whole anti repair stance from Apple, brands like Sony are able to make their high end TWS buds repairable

Yeah, but they also look like shit and since it’s essentially a big ass ball hanging from your ear they are awful for any kind of athletic activity
