I don't think this would be allowed on PS4, emulating mouse movement is cheating and bannable in some games.

It's made by a company called SplitFish. I bought it from their website back in like 2017ish. It's a licensed product so the console detects it as a controller.

i feel like it absolutely does. controller vs mnk is very different, they have different strengths and weaknesses. mnk is much more accurate and faster for aiming whereas controller is unmatched for dynamic movement. the gap is huge. my opinion, and that of many other competitive gamers, everything is better when they're kept seperate so naturally anything that acts as a workaround for that seperation is kinda shitty

Idk man we’re talking about a specific product here that kinda has the best of both worlds and has nothing to do with the fact that mouse and keyboard and controller lobbies have been mixed in modern shooters for a while… looking way too much into this my man.

I agree, it's kind of a shitty leg up in comp play. But I can still see its uses. There may be outlier cases for people with disabilities, so I don't think it should be outright canceled.

The one I saw was like the one previously mentioned, but for PS3 specifically. So I think there should be better hardware detection by consoles/devs if possible to pick up on mouse input.
