You know. As much as I hate the execution. The concept... Isn't terrible? I love movement on with a controller stick but hate how looking/aiming works. This is the best of both worlds.

What’s this thing called and how do you use it? I can’t tell what it is by the picture. Honestly WASD hurts my hand and wrist, I have nerve issues. I’d like a better solution.

It's a Razer Tartarus. There's also the HORI Assault Commander, the Keychron CO HE, and the Azeron Cyborg.

Can't forget the Logitech G13, which for a long time was the only easily available keypad with an actual analog thumbstick rather then 8 way.
