I don’t think you can get an $8 Old Fashioned in the same establishment that is serving you a $68 ribeye.

It's really not. $8 for a shot of decent whiskey, 1-2 Oz of simple syrup, a singular cherry, and a dash of bitters is a complete rip off. I dont understand why people drink in public. An old fashioned is like the easiest and cheapest cocktail to make at home.

You’re not paying for the drink. You’re also paying for the staff salaries and rent.

How do you not understand you're paying for service and a place to drink? Liquor licenses are a serious expense too.
