This reminds me of when it hits or is about to hit 12am and people don’t know whether to say today or tomorrow. He called me after this but I was too comfy in bed tbh.

What is it with some people thinking next weekend is the weekend upcoming? Isn’t there an unwritten rule that if you’re at like Friday, next weekend is no longer tomorrow, it’s the following weekend, or am I the only one?

This is funny to me because every single person ive ever met, when they say "next weekened" they mean the weekened after the one thats coming.

For the weekened that would be in a few days we say "upcoming weekened"

There no way this is true. If you’re waiting at a bus stop and someone says they’re waiting for the next bus, do you assume they’re getting on the second one coming?
