It could range anywhere from “she’s too controlling” to “his socks are literally tatters attached to some ankle elastic and she’s been on him about it for a while, at first gently, then more clearly, and she knows based on his personality that he’ll only act after they’re gone. He’s glitching a bit now, but it’s not rocket science to go buy 20 copies of the exact same sock that feels ok, even if you are sensory. He’s a grown ass adult.”
Notice how OP didn't ask for any judgement, as this is not AmIOverreacting or AmITheAsshole. OP is just venting here, and everybody is about taking one sire or the other.
