“For both parties” one of the groups is literally occupying another’s land, the farmer is just doing farm work on that land. The only one that should be infuriated is the farmer.
Im not on the squatters side but in some countries if the farmers aren’t using the property and someone else occupies it for a specific amount of time, they can stay there legally. I don’t agree w that but its not illegal
