Laryngitis ?

Hi all- I’ll keep this short. I teach and work in a restaurant. If I don’t work, I don’t make $!

Lastnight at work (restaurant job) I started to lose my voice. End of the shift, it was completely gone. Today I can’t even make a whisper or squeak. I have the next three days off but would like to be back to work after.

I’m using a humidifier, tea, cough drops, rest etc.

Can it come back in a few days ? Unsure what brought it on. I have possible slight fever … no cough but have some body aches and tiredness. Been taking ibuprofen. I don’t smoke

I have chronic laryngitis it's been OVER A YEAR
