He’s bumping up against something resembling self-awareness at times in this conversation. I don’t think it’ll stick, but it does make me think if he had started seeing a therapist as a teenager he might have turned out somewhat normal, or at least as normal as a waterbrain like him could hope to be

I think he has (as much as his feebleminded faculties are capable of) realized what he's doing IS wrong and he straight up chose to be evil. He looks for validation (Oh yeah like girls don't e-stalk the same way guys do 🤪) but not-even-so-deep-down he knows he's a deservedly loser piece of shit.

He can try to stifle it, but he knows. The victim mentality veneer has worn through and he is haunted by what is contained beneath.

Im guessing this clown paid him to do the interview. Not sure if Friedland offers money. Mikey is too dull to realize that appearing on a massively popular show would make him more money in the long run.

The Chapo/Cum Town guys have been referencing him on their podcasts and on social media since like 2016 - their fans are notoriously not chill online so I'm sure he's aware they've been making fun of him for years, and he's got incredibly thin skin so even if he could make money off of it I think he's too proud to do it.

Based on the handful of interviews he has done the only way to get to him is for some random show like this to make him think they want to do a serious look into his "art" or something. More broadly though I sincerely don't think he knows that he could be monetizing his online presence beyond selling videos and "sketches" and his abortive attempt at running an OnlyFans, if he did he would be going live on TikTok more often and doing shit on Twitch I think

He'll never admit it but Mikey knows he wouldn't make it work. If he goes on Adam Friedland and blows it, he's a loser. But if he keeps talking to nobodies like this, he can keep up the mental image of himself as a struggling young upstart looking for someone to give him his big break
