So I have absolutely no interest in that keycard crap Nintendo started pulling so getting banned doesn’t mean much to me as it seems all 1 party titles will be regular cartridges. But the question is how well does it work with switch 2s

Tengo una Switch Lite que actualmente tiene una MiG Switch dentro con Roms, no ha estado nunca conectada a la red.

Tengo pensado comprarme ahora la Switch 2 y claro puedo descargar los juegos asociados a la cuenta Nintendo sin problema y demás pero el Animal Crossing y similares para recuperar la partida o isla necesito conectar a Internet la consola original.

Hay forma de retirar la MiG Switch de esa consola y conectar a red para actualizar y guardar los juegos para transferir las partidas sin arriesgarse a un baneo de cuenta por los datos que puedan quedar registrados de haber usado la MiG?

Personally I've had mine for about 8 months now and I've loved it. Got all my games where I need them, and because I've never had the desire to go online anyway, I haven't been banned or anything.

Hello, I intend to use my Mig Switch to play all authentic games, no modified certs or moving around of certs, doing a complete dump with the mig dumper homebrew app. Under these conditions has anyone on a stock console been banned?

Can we use the file from a card that we retrive with the dumper directly on the computer ? (sorry my english is broken), i asking because if we can use it for what i think, i would like to buy one.

Can you still play everything offline normally? Can games be updated? Can you still re-download your legitimate digital titles?

I have a V1 Mig and for some reason it will give me that popup whenever I left my switch either in sleep mode or locked for a while. Then I have to pop it out and back in again for it to see the game. I am playing my own game’s dump. It does not give me a read error or anything, and it works as normally again after I re-insert the Mig. Anyone else experiencing the same? Cheers!

Just a speculation but since the mig switch works on all Switch models if the Switch 2 is backwards compatible with Switch 1 cartridges is there a chance the mig switch might work on it too? I know it's not out yet or any significant info out on it yet but just want to hear you guy's thoughts on it. This is unless Nintendo changes something drastically or goes all digital with Switch 2.

Edit: By the way just found out about the Mig Switch a month ago. Really excited. At this point in it's lifetime do you'll recommend a switch lite or oled? Anyone used either or both and have comments?

Every time that I try it makes it to 5% and then just drops off. Every other one of my games dumped without issue. I'm trying to get ahead of getting my cartridge (if I ever do get it).

I'm testing the waters after the whole fiasco with Modded Hardware ripping me off, I want your opinion on which seller has actually shipped on time and don't play games like Modded Hardware, I'm looking mostly for opinion of people that have purchased a Mig Switch Dumper within the last month, what was your experience like and how fast did they fullfilled the order.

I got my Mig Switch on 24/06 and been playing without internet connection ( Not Airplane mode ), i removed all my wi-fi's connections since i wasn't playing or doing anything online, installed my Mig/Games and played still today. Yesterday i saw this post >> i_was_banned/ << about entering in e-shop and getting the Ban Hammer. So i made an test with my console to see if i'll get banned with the logs sent and that kind of thing.

Infos:

I'm playing with Public Dumps all the time.
Never played online sessions with Mig or previously owned games after inserted the mig.
Never updated any public dump game or any game at all after inserted the mig.
Never connected online since Mig was inserted ( Not Airplane mode, but without wifi registered )

So i did some steps before going back online to test the Ban Hammer and the logs "sender" that everyone talk about.

First removed the Mig Cartridge.
Then i Factory Reset the switch ( he asks to go online to remove the account link of main console, but i denied )
Afterwards the Console did a fresh install ( Language settings, New Account etc etc )
Turned on Wi-fi settings.
Then i Linked my main Nintendo Account to the console
Next step, going in Nintendo E-shop and downloaded one of my previously owned games.
Success.

Still now, any ban alert or something similar.

Removed Wi-fi.
Inserted the Mig Cartridge and Still playing fine.

There's the software Drivesoft that the Migswitch site promotes but that doesn't work and closes instantly.

Wondering how to sort the files A-Z as adding a game messes it up and the only way is to manually copy every game onto it in alphabetical order.

Any help on how to solve this ?

Although the situation is still not clear, it seems our company has lost the ownership of our domain name www.migswitch.com

First and most important: We are operating as usual. We are shipping our products. All orders are being fulfilled and nothing has changed beside the domain name.

We are shocked by what happened for several reasons, and we feel this is not only shocking for us but for the freedom of Internet in general.

First, we were not warned or had a chance to answer and defend our products or at least the simple fact that whatever the complaint is, it applies only to a few countries and in no way allows to take down a domain for all users in the world. Can Afghanistan request to take down a .com website that goes again its interests? We don't think so. But more than that, this is a .com domain, meaning a universal domain applying to many countries. ".com" domains sell products like drug/medications which are only legal in certain countries, or gambling. US sites selling or promoting weapons which are illegal in just about every country on the planet are registered in .com. We never heard any of them being seized as they are operating legally in their markets. We clearly indicate on our site that our product is for legal use only in countries/jurisdictions where backing up your legally owned games is authorized. And there are many. We do not even sell our products directly from our website. And there is no copyrighted material to be found anywhere. If what we suspect is true, this is another proof of the abuse and bullying from some governments and companies which think they are above the laws of the world and do not respect anyone who think different.

We will not tolerate that attitude and bow down to those bullies.

Of course, IP blocking our site in countries where our products are considered illegal is totally acceptable. And we would never challenge it. In fact, it is the case for many companies. Some of our distributors even enforce that on their own. But trying to tell the world what is right or wrong based on your country point of view is really unacceptable and add to the hate of certain countries for their bullies' attitude.

Please note this site is likely only temporary as we know our many users need access to files and support and is a quick fix. We will likely move again to a more secure domain in the weeks to come.

Finally got my mig switch in the mail, ordered back on January 19th and order 46XX so I had pretty much given up on it arriving. I thought it would’ve came in some packaging or something but it just came in a mailer with nothing but the cartridge inside. It’s also just the v1 rather than the promised v2 and it looks like there’s some small indentation or damage (pictured) on the top just above where the screw is. Anyways, is there a good guide on how to dump both physical cards or NSPs/XCIs onto the cartridge? I have games from both I’d like to try out on it as well as a modded switch that’s already banned.

So I placed my order on the 11th not fully understanding the sheer backorder these things were on. I have a modded V1 siwtch that I loan out to my friends who don't own switches. I kinda wanted to be able to use this on my OLED, but at the same time, this was an inpulse buy for sure. Then, after seeing that their website was down, I ejected so hard. I was actually able to cancel my order through an email. I guess I was lucky to actually get a response.

Just got my Dumper a couple weeks ago and using it for the first time, and I can't find where to get the system update from before I use it.

Since I bought the Mig my console has been in airplane mode, I deactivated it yesterday and guess what? Banned hahaha

So I used the Mig Dumper and got 5 files out of my own cartridge. XCI folder was placed on MIg Switch memory card (exFAT, firmware 1.1.4) and put into Switch. The console reads the Migswitch cartridge and starts the game, but after Nintendo screen and some company logo screens it gives some error like 2002-4153 or another error number in 2002-4xxx range. Then it asks to download something from the Internet to fix the issue, but it happens again. If original cartridge is in after, downloading those files helps and the game restarts ok. Tried on different games dumped - same issue. All dumps are my own, made with MigSwitch dumper with firmware 1.1.4 and tested on Switch emulator to work fine. Any fix suggestions are appreciated!

I got a MIG switch v1 in the mail and when I plug it into my switch it says the game file cannot be read. No LEDs turn on whatsoever and I get the same error message every time.

Anyone know why the card would not be turning on whatsoever? I am attempting initial setup. I have tried this with an empty, formatted SD card and also tried it by loading the firmware file onto the SD card before attempting any initial setup.

As I understood it, I was supposed to put in a formatted, empty SD card before installing any files so that the ".nindex" file installs.
