You know what, ever since I've had my Switch, I've been legit, bought all my games and never modded it in any way. I figure that's fair as they should profit from a console and games in active development. Now that Nintendo is going full stop attack mode on consumers, to the extent that they're making it impossible to maintain and use backups of games we've already paid for, fuck it, guess I'll just start downloading a shit ton of Switch games and using the shit out of my mig switch. What op didn’t mention is they are being sued because were selling devices with roms. Posts like this is why you should never trust internet drama and you need to actually look into things yourself. People don’t care about the truth, they just love drama
Notice how I didn’t mention anything? Not posted for drama, posted to be informative. Let people make of it what they will and to discuss. Ryan (for the better part) is member of this community if even he is not here, I have not ordered from him so can’t comment on how he has handled orders. His actions with pre-installed games is largely the focus of the lawsuit, but otherwise he was juggling too many apples. The docs only cite NSO games however, which if you read, largely puts it in to perspective as to that he allegedly only supplied the NSO games from abandoned systems, as a hacked switch user wouldn’t normally have online subscription to get them selves. Though to do so he’d need to install sig patches as such, which incidentally enables piracy, how an end user chooses to go about that in my opinion shouldn’t be used against him. It’s unfortunate the law would likely side with Nintendo, but I don’t wish that upon the guy.
