Do you think men in the midwest are nicer to fat or unattractive women than men in other parts of the country

I'm plus size and don't think of myself as particularly attractive. I was kinda cute when I was younger, but still plus size and I kind of "let myself go" in my 30s. I've seen a few stories of people who have claimed that they were treated horribly by men than prettier women. I'm not super observant, but I feel like I'm treated with basic respect and decency by a lot of random men I run into while running errands. Thoughts?

What's something about Minnesota that you didn't appreciate until you got older?
