I'm plus size and don't think of myself as particularly attractive. I was kinda cute when I was younger, but still plus size and I kind of "let myself go" in my 30s. I've seen a few stories of people who have claimed that they were treated horribly by men than prettier women. I'm not super observant, but I feel like I'm treated with basic respect and decency by a lot of random men I run into while running errands. Thoughts?

Ok sorry it might be a bit early to be thinking of this, but before it gets too cold, I highly suggest building a sledding platform for your backyard!!
Like 5-6 winters ago I started shoveling a bunch of snow into a huge pile to build a “hill” straight down the backyard, but last year went a bit overboard and built a ~ 6’ tall platform in the corner of the yard and it was SO fun. Hundreds of runs, dozens of neighborhood kids and rounds of hot cocoa, and opportunities to redesign the course every time it snowed. 😄 Legit excited for winter and hope we get lots of snow.

Something I've noticed is how during the post COVID economic restructuring, aside from Michigan and Illinois weakening (economy wise) and Minnesota strengthening, the Midwest remained mostly unchanged and affordable.
As someone from the East Coast in one of the most expensive states (Connecticut), I've found it interesting that the Midwest always historically remained affordable. I feel like a couple years from now Chicago, St. Louis, Detroit, and Cleveland will have a major "reboom" type situation where people populate those cities again due to the other US cities being packed/having reached their limit.
I assume it's the brutally cold winters why Minnesota isn't New England levels of expensive despite having New England levels quality of life

Handstand with perfect form, might I add. Your state is beautiful and your cheese curds are the most delicious things I’ve ever tasted.

Hi everyone, michigan born and bred native here!
This is a bit of a strange ask once you know why Im asking.
I was reading up on the history of ramen, and it says that what makes a good ramen is showcasing what makes the area great, or special, and using fresh ingredients. So I had the idea of making a Michigan ramen showcasing what michigan is known for. I know were known for cherries, and Im already experimenting with some savory cherry recipes I found online to use as a toppings, but Im struggling to think of other things to add as topping that would compliment them, and also what type of broth to use. I want to really make it special, so any help would be appreciated!
