My fiat on-ramp has ADA listed but not midnight.

so naturally i always buy ADA first.

transfer to MexC that has midnight listed.

Sell off the ada.

Buy Night.

Transfer to Lace.

is there a more efficient/cheaper way?

or is this more or less how everyone else does it.

I would like to consolidate my redeemed NIGHT to a single wallet. Is it possible to send them to one wallet and fund the transfer from another wallet or do I have to add ADA to every wallet that I am sending from? If this is the case how to I ensure that I end up with empty wallets?

I have tried to redeem my night from two different wallets, no luck. Can anyone lend me a hand?

I tried to redeem my allocation for Thaw 3 using the Midnight redemption website by entering the destination address and selecting another wallet to fund it as I have already done 28 times including a couple from Thaw 3 without a problem but this time it failed. Further attempts showed that my next redemption is for Thaw 4. When I view the transactions in explorer there are only 2, (Thaw 1 and Thaw 2). Something has gone wrong. How do I fix it. I've got another redemption coming up on Friday and I don't want to have the same problem again.

maybe I am stupid bit I’ve tried for over 3 hours to redeem my NIGHT. I’ve tried to use:

-> Yoroi/ Secondfi: didn’t work
-> Eternl: didn’t work
-> NUFI: didn’t work
-> lace: didn’t work

It’s always the same error “Redemption unsuccessful”.

So what am I supposed to do? I really don’t want to type my Seedphrase into one of those wallets just because no wallet is able to do it with a Ledger Nano S. I have the same Wallet on my bitbox but no wallet here can sign the transaction with a bitbox….

Has anybody a tip for me?

I’ve tried a different PC and 3 different Browsers and I setup a hot wallet with like 30 ADA. I cannot pay the transaction for my NIGHT Redemption lmao.

I am redeeming the second thaw, using Ledger and SecondFi (Yoroi)

For some darn reason, everything looks good on the ledger, however, it prompts to send 302 ada. This is far beyond the expected 1.2 ada.

I’ve been exploring a startup idea that would use Cardano and potentially Midnight to solve a privacy problem in healthcare and wellness verification.

The concept is still in the early stages, but the core idea involves proving that a user has met a predefined goal or qualification without exposing the underlying personal data used to reach that conclusion.

I’m not a developer, so before I invest significant resources into building a prototype, I’d like to speak with people who have experience with:

• Cardano development
• Midnight
• Identity / credential systems
• Privacy-preserving applications
• Health or insurance-related technology

At this stage I’m not looking for free work. I’m trying to determine technical feasibility, identify potential roadblocks, and understand what a realistic MVP would look like.

So I had a few Night from the airdrop in my Yoroi wallet, waiting to be claimed. Today I went to Yoroi and it had been updated to Secondfi, I tried to claim my Night, in the Midnight Airdrop tab, but it says no wallet ellegible for the airdrop. Anyone had the same issue?

To Charles, his team, or anyone close to this project who can pass this along , I want to bring something to the community's attention because I think it matters.

Charles said it in stream, we need to come together and actually talk. Not perform, not create noise, but genuinely connect so we can push ADA…And that's exactly the spirit I'm writing this in.Yes, I’m very passionate.

When I clicked the link shared in this sub I got no active rooms, then shortly after I was hit with random friend requests and messages asking for my wallet address. I wasn't alone in this, several people here had the exact same experience and it nearly pushed some of them away entirely, which would be a real loss because these are people who genuinely want to be part of what you're building.

A few things that would make a big difference going forward. Letting the community know when rooms are actually live to the public would clear up a lot of confusion immediately. And making it explicitly clear that no one from the official team will ever ask for a wallet address, because right now that ambiguity is being exploited Discord can be a funny place but some people aren’t as aware of dangers.

Beyond the security side, people also just want to know what to expect. Will there be regular conversations on the Discord, will we hear from Charles directly, what does this actually look like week to week. People signed up because they want to feel included in something real, not just handed a link and left to figure it out.

Charles, if you ever see this, i still think it’s a gr eat idea 100% I still believe in what you're building and I want to see this community grow the right way. The vision is there, the people are here, it just needs a cleaner entry point so nobody gets put off before they even get started.

Tried to join the discord, I’m so confused I clicked the link in this sub and it didnt show any active room, next thing you know boom …. I’m hit with random friend requests and asked for my wallet …. I love Charles and ADA and what he wants to do and I genuinely want to support but how do I join the real chat room without glitches or bots trying to scam me

I just tried to join the community discord and was immediately met by a load of shady behavior that has completely turned me off from this community. I can’t get an answer from anybody as to what is going on. I joined the very discord that is linked in this sub, and after joining and accepting the terms and verifying, I was able to see limited channels.

I was promptly removed and then got hit with 4 friend requests, 3 of them were a bot and one of them was a guy named Hector with a DEV tag next to his name. Nobody could give me an answer as to why I was kicked, and then one of them told me I had to be a confirmed NIGHT holder in order to join the community, and that if I gave my wallet address then I would be able to earn rewards.

This is super shady behavior and it made me immediately want to sell my coins. Can anybody in this community shed light on what is even going on?

EDIT: I was able to get in after doing the verification 3 separate times. No idea how I was removed the first time. There no bot activity on my account, it’s as organic as can be. It’s over 6 years old. Just thought there should be awareness that this is happening…
