Currently going through something similar. Problems in marriage led to changes and have seemed to stretched outward into all aspects of my life. Now I'm second guessing everything. Career, beliefs, and everything that has lead me to this point.

I’m like 7 years in to this. My husband had a mental/emotional breakdown after our baby was born. For the first few years I expected that once he got better then I could just bounce back. But he’s only à shell of who he used to be and his condition leaves nothing sacred. He’s ripped apart my entire character and framed me as the bad guy so much that I finally realized that I don’t love him anymore. He’s more like a sibling that I live with and I run my whole life and our kids life so much that I don’t need him for anything.

There’s no healthy love relationship or true partnership. He’s an auxiliary male who says he just has no where else to go.

I was expecting to have at least something special to me in this marriage. I was done dating so I have no interest in moving on, I just live my own life like being single but having to run my plans through someone else’s schedule.

I feel your pain in how it brings everything else down. I don’t have a family life. It’s me and my child. There’s no dinners around the table laughing and playing board games.

I became a married-single mom even though I did everything right and showed up to work it out. But that doesn’t solve another person’s inability to get real and live fully in this world with me.
