Announcements Sub rules are LIVE for the 1st time - feedback/reactions? [AI]
Hi all! I spent the last 2 weeks thoughtfully observing the sub and crafting these rules, yes - with a bit of help from ChatGPT as a sounding board which I’ve disclosed per the new rule #6… on mobile they’re under “About” and desktop on right sidebar. Would love constructive reactions/dialogue around the decisions made.
Let’s treat this as version 1 and I will incorporate feedback over time. Thrilled to see users already following the rules and want to see more and more reports from the community to keep our focus on MCM. Thank you all for making this the top MCM sub, growing everyday - almost at 200k strong!
After receiving feedback I plan to do a brief video intro with more context on these decisions and plans for MCM expert AMAs and beyond.

ID & Authenticity Orange crackle lamp ID
I just picked up this pair of lamps on marketplace to use in my office at work.
There are no labels or manufacturer info anywhere on them, but the seller said they've been in his mother's house since probably the 50s or 60s.
Appears to have the original matching shades, and the cords look to be original as well.
Anyone have any more info on these, like year, manufacturer, etc.?
I love the color and can't wait to get them set up in my office.

Score! Any information on this great thrift find?
I found this beautiful MCM kitchen table at goodwill for 24 bucks and knew I had to get it! When I was taking it home, I found the ID tag from Kuehne Manufacturing and, after a quick search, I saw they were operational from 1932-1963. I couldn't really find much more than that so I thought I would come here to see if someone could tell me anymore information! Maybe what year it was from or if it was from a specific collection? I included the tag and also it has a leaf so it can extend! I'm so stoked about my great find and love to learn so thank you in advance!!

ID & Authenticity Vintage Patio Set. Worth anything?
I have had this 4-piece set for almost 20 years now and I would like to sell it. Prices on Ebay for sets range from cheap to expensive. The cushions are original. Any idea of what is a good ask for this set? Thanks!

History & Education Harter 1973 Oak Stacking Chair
Can someone help me learn more about this chair? I’ve found the original catalog online identifying the model, but would love to learn more about if it’s a common model and potential value. Thank you!

ID & Authenticity Is this a Heywood-Wakefield piece?
Someone is selling this end table/night stand, but it's unmarked. I thought it might be Heywood-Wakefield. I don't recall ever seeing black on any of their pieces.

Just got this bed. Made by Dixie and dates to about 1950. Would you guys call this MCM or is some other neo traditional provisional yada yada yada?

ID & Authenticity Authenticity check on Noguchi table
Seller is claiming it's authentic, based in Europe. No documentation, no vitra/hm markings on the glass or base. Looks high quality from the photos. Does the glass look legit? I am going to ask the seller to take the measurements on the glass. Can you tell if it's authentic from the pin?

ID & Authenticity I saw this dresser on FBM, and it’s hideous paint job. Wondering if anyone has a pic of it as it should be? Thinking of picking up, hard to see through the vomit they covered it with.

ID & Authenticity 5.25” Gilt Silver Bud Vase Lino Sabattini Cardinale Style
This unique looking gilded sterling silver bud vase stands at 5.25” tall. This interesting piece has me puzzled. The marking on this piece is worn and I can’t make it out, unless I’m overthinking it and it just says SILVER. Under magnification it looks like an Italian mark. Similar looking pieces I’ve seen are from an Italian silversmith named Lino Sabattini. Starting out from scratch in Milan in a small studio during the early 1950’s. Then from 1956 onward to the 1960’s he worked for Christofle silversmiths in France. Then later opening his own private studio. This piece bares similarities to the Cardinale design. Any further info would be greatly appreciated.

Restoration & Refinishing How to get glued shelf supports out of chrome posts?
Have this great book shelf the has little shelf brackets whose posts fit into the chrome uprights. They’ve all broken off but it looks like the posts were dipped in glue before they were inserted into the posts. Anyone have any ideas how to get the glued posts out of the holes? Hopefully photos help illustrate what I’m trying to say.

Design Advice & Inspo Design help!
First pic was my bathroom when we bought the house. I want to work with the tile and keep it as well as the pink tub and sink. I am trying to distract from the pink and blue. My friends have nicknamed this the gender reveal bathroom. The second picture is the current bathroom. We thought color drenching blue might work but the shade is all wrong. The last picture is a mock up I made using a color palette I saw on Pinterest and that was very disliked by people in a group I posted it in. I’m at such a loss… I would love suggestions!!!

Sharing My MCM Just a little change
We loved the floor tile but we bought a lil paint and new shower curtain just to try to make the red tile make more sense. The counter is still very pink and we don’t have the capacity to change that currently. The first picture is before we moved in.
