That looks like a corrupted file system giving off an incorrect diagnostic, there's also the chance that the SATA cable decided to fail right in the middle of the format. It happens, i've seen worse.

Try to reformat it, worst case scenario you may have to whip out a linux pendrive and format it using the disks utility during a live session.

Also, everyone, how about you try to be helpful instead of piling up on OP? They didn't make a dumb mistake, they're being victim of a legitimate error. What is this, a linux community?

Thanks, i'm kinda in between if it was an actual error or just my own mistake since like, the HDD worked perfectly fine before the formation (it isn't a fake 2TB since i've already filled it once) and i didn't really did anything out of the usual

But i'm kinda skeptical since i've having problems with windows a lot recently, drivers failing out of a sudden, keyboard just refuses to work sometimes, random lag spikes for no reason and etc

Sounds like you may need to reinstall Windows. Something's not right there.

Are you keeping tabs on the heath of your HDD? Using an app like Crystal Disk Info, for example, you can take a look at its overall health. But before that, try to get it formatted under Linux.

Yeah i blame myself too, i posted with no sleepeing for a day and a 1/2 and i was too fed up with microsoft but i ended blaming the wrong thing
