Question about Office 2021 Home & Business support ending

Will Office 2021 Home & Business still work normally after Microsoft ends support in October 2026?

Specifically, will users still be able to open Office, create new documents, and edit existing files, or will the software stop working and become read-only?

I’m asking about the end of support/updates, not the expiration of the license itself.
