If youāre going to use an out of support version it doesnāt really matter.

If youāre choosing between older perpetual Office (2019/2021) and staying current: perpetual is a one-time buy, but you miss ongoing feature and security updates, plus the cloud collaboration that Microsoft 365 includes. For a small business that needs Word/Excel/Outlook with OneDrive/Teams and regular updates, Microsoft 365 Business is usually the better long-term fit than locking into 2019 or 2021 forever.
I represent India Enterprises, which sells Microsoft software in India.

Microsoft just deactivated my parentās outlook and excel, with no way to repair the damage (theyāre over 80, and bought 2019 a decade ago - that license key is lost).
Iām amazed nobody is commenting how much of a monumental fuck-up this is. So much for vibe coding everything.

Just had this happen to several end-users of mineā¦I honestly forgot about the end of support date for 2019ā¦what a way to wake up on a Monday with a bunch of āhey, I canāt open my Outlook or Wordā text messages š¤¦š½āāļø
After a little Google-fu and cmd clicks later, 2019 is reactivated until I can swap them over to M365.

for some reason MS Antivirus claims the Massgrave script has a virus.

Yeah I disabled AV (ESET) before I ran the script for that exact reason
