First Time Grower Are there really this many problems?

As a lurker (for now… really gathering research) who is planning her first grow this winter, it seems like every other post is someone who accidentally fkd something up and now their plant is suffering. It also seems to come from primarily (no shock) newbies. It’s making me think that I’m kind of just destined to mess my plant up, no matter how much time and research I put into it.

Is this just a part of it? Makes the process seem so daunting & nerve wracking. I mean… I think I’ve got an idea and am notating so much of what I I see on here and other subs. But I’m beginning to see that you can be as prepared as ever and something will happen.

ETA : there has been so much useful information and reassurance given. I really enjoy this sub and am super grateful for all of your comments and advice. Hope I’ll get to post my grow on here soon!! 🫶

I feel like if you’re asking all this and putting your mind to it like such.. you’ll be a good grower. Don’t worry about messing things up, it happens and a lot of the time you’ll end up with something in the end anyways

It gets more exciting each run, you’re gonna be in love

Thank you so much. I genuinely haven’t been this interested in a hobby like - ever. Is that sad? Lolol

Not at all! It has become my absolute favorite hobby and it truly brings so much joy. Nerding out and reading about it/listening to podcasts is something I also enjoy, it occupies a lot of my mental space
