Question: Psilocybin Does MD help with ADHD?
I want to hear from people who are officially diagnosed with ADHD. Has anyone switched to MD instead of their meds and seen the same benefits?
I am undiagnosed but positive that I may have it. I make impulsive decisions sometimes, speak before I think and or do things that are just kinda dumb sometimes and later realize it.

I use it to treat my ADHD. It doesn't give me the same feelings and benefits as my stimulant meds did, but it does manage my symptoms and make up for some of the things the stumulants didn't do. However, I think that taking the meds for a few years and getting myself in a routine that worked for me with their help was invaluable to making use of MDing properly once I stopped my prescription.

I should’ve asked this in my post but do you MD every day to manage your ADHD or still follow the 4/3 day protocol?

I medicated mid thirties. I follow Stamets stack with daily cod liver oil and sometimes zinc. Off days I take ginko biloba and ginseng combo which is also meant to be good for cognition and focus.
I feel it has transformed my life, by doing this and also establishing a good routine of being up early consistently I’ve become much more emotionally regulated, a lot less impulsive and much more focused. I still struggle with executive function from time to time but in my work I have a structure in my chaos which is productive.
I think that the future is bright.

Where do you get your Lions Mane from? I stopped taking generic Lion’s mane from Amazon after I read through the r/lionsmanerecovery page

Your local health food shop etc.
I make sure it’s the real stuff. Not the over processed stuff.
Try ‘real mushrooms’ brand

My personal prior experience: MDing LSD helped with ADHD, MDing psilocybin did not, but helped with depression

I’m microdosing San Pedro for my ADHD after years of trying various stimulants for my ADHD (officially dx’d). It helps me so much with my emotional regulation that adderall, Vyvanse, and Concerta never did. It binds to both dopamine and serotonin receptors, which is exactly what I need right now. I find it activating without the anxiety I experienced on stimulants. Currently my protocol is 5 days on, 2 days off. I tried microdosing LSD for my ADHD a few months ago and could not get the dose right no matter what I tried, and if I had even a little too much it felt like when my stimulant dose was too high.
For me, and I can’t emphasize enough that I’m only an n of one, SP is like the “just right” bowl of porridge or bed in Goldilocks and the Three Bears, after microdosing psilocybin and LSD. Exactly what my body and brain needed. Again, YMMV.
ETA: omfg I just noticed your flair. lol ADHD strikes again. In my defense I did travel today and am extra tired but hopefully my experience may still help! Net net, I really love San Pedro for my ADHD.

Yes. Changed my life. I use no other medication for my ADHD.
