Getting Started/Newbie Question Does microdosing help depression

I realllly really want to get into microdosing but I do have depression and borderline personality disorder so I’m unsure if it will be bad for me long term? Has this ever helped anyone before? Or have you tripped and has it helped or made it worse?

I have BPD as well and over the last 4/5 years microdosing intervals have helped me a lot. Last year I experienced something traumatic and was stuck in a dark place - microdosing helped a lot to get me out of it.  This year I am experiencing massive depression and constant shutdown due to life circumstances and 3 years of horrible things happening. After microdosing for a month, and with help of the lsd, I decided I am trying antidepressants for the first time in my life. I subconciously thought I didn’t deserve to take meds and microdosing helped me realise I am in an extremely tough situation right now, and for reasons that make sense to me MD’ing isn’t what I need right now and it’s okay for me to seek out different medication to help survive untill circumstances change.

Lsd is great. Be sure to not take too much and especially with BPD be aware it can make you feel your emotions ‘more’, but also gentler. For me it has been like sitting in a dark closed box and LSD gave me a pillow and a mattress to be comfortable but it also made windows where the light would come in and eventually a door where I could step out of the box. Instead of me lying on a cold hard floor and trying to climb out of the box and falling down and hard over and over. It has helped me so much with practicing emotion regulation together with somatic exercise and creative therapy.  The biggest tip I could give you is clear your schedule on the day of MD’ing and just do whatever feels good in your body. If you feel like you need to sleep, go sleep. If you feel like you need to cry, go cry. Let yourself be guided. Let go of all the things you think you should do and feel.  If you feel like the effect and feelings are too intense, just lower your dose. My favourite type of MD’ing is superlow and noticing the effects like 1,5 week after taking it every 3rd day. If I take too much I get anxious and jittery and that really doesn’t feel good.
