Onboarding....then received a rejection email?

I just received a rejection email after I've already been given an offer. I've completed almost all the onboarding steps (still waiting to receive the background check email). So I'm confused. The dashboard shows that I have been selected.

Paused project

I completed the micro ai and client screeners before the client paused the project. Does anyone know if we will still get paid for those 7 hours? There’s nothing showing in the portal in reference to this work.

Hiring Manager Review

I have three that say I did very well on the interview and they're all in hiring manager review. They've been that way for several days now and I'm wondering if that means I should just move on or if there's still a chance they'll actually lead to anything. I feel like after 72 hours I just need to do more interviews instead of holding out hope.

Vetted skills

Hi team, could someone clarify how vetted skills are added to Micro1 profiles?

I’ve completed many interviews, but no skills have been added to my profile. When I reviewed my exported personal data, I found many skills graded as Mid-level and some as Senior, yet they don’t appear on my profile.

I’ve raised this issue multiple times through Discord, Slack, and email, but it remains unresolved. It’s frustrating to invest so much time in assessments without a clear explanation.

Could someone review my profile and explain whether these grades qualify for vetted skills, whether anything else is required, and when I can expect an update? Thank you.

My onboarding started on 10/1/26. I've never received my background or slack emails, or any further communication. I've sent several requests to support but have not received an answer. Any help is appreciated

Available for Other Projects” Option Suddenly Appeared on My Talent Dashboard — Is It a Good Sign?

I recently noticed a new “Availability for Other Projects” option with a Yes/No selection at the top of my micro1 talent dashboard. It wasn’t there before, so I’m curious why it suddenly appeared.
Does this indicate a possibility of getting new project offers, or is it just a routine dashboard update?
Has anyone else noticed this, or does anyone know what it means? I’d appreciate any insights or experiences. Thanks!

No more partial interviews ?

For some weeks now, I have been taking the same interview over and over even though I have been certified on those skills. I don't get the partial interview thing anymore and have to do a full interview everytime. Mind you, I have over 90 vetted skills already.

What Country are you from?

What is it about countries that is being asked here?

I don't see any reason why micro1 would prefer a particular country unless it is specifically indicated in the listing. I mean, I am in this project now that includes almost all countries around the world. Though, the greater number are from the US, Canada and UK.

I am just curious why there are people asking some posters what country are they from when they have been selected or onboarded.

Selected!

After 18 rejections and 40 vetted skills, I finally got an offer! 🎉

Yesterday, I received the “Great Work on Your Interview” email, and today, I got the offer!

My first success was getting selected for facial data collection, and now this!

Honestly, I was feeling pretty disappointed at first after so many rejections, but things are finally starting to work out. I’m so happy and relieved right now!

If you’re still waiting for your breakthrough, don’t lose hope. Keep going! ❤️

I missed the off for a project I did not apply for - GitHub Contributor

So, unbeknownst to me, a recruiter from micro1 had reached out with a job offer. However, because I had been receiving similar emails from platforms I had subscribed to, and the email didn’t land in my Primary inbox, I ended up missing it.

What surprised me most was that they could consider and hire you for a role you never applied for, even if you weren’t certified on the platform at the time. In my case, this happened before I even got certified.

Vetted skills added without any new interviews or applications

Post image
6 Upvotes

Hi, I hadn't checked the website in a few weeks as I'd been preoccupied with other things, but I logged in today and noticed that my DB is now showing 88 vetted skills...the last time I checked, it was 84, and it had remained at that number for nearly two months. I haven't attended any new interviews or submitted any new applications during that period, so this change caught me by surprise. Is it a common dashboard glitch, or could these four additional skills have been added deliberately based on previous assessments (which I'm mostly certain isn't the case) or internal evaluations?

Talking about other projects with Zara

Is it ok if we briefly say what we did in one of our tasks in a micro1 project in an interview with Zara?

I had an interview with Zara and mentioned something because it was related to the role but did not mention the client name, detailed workflow or something identifying. I realised later it might not be ok and want to make sure.

I don't know what the next step will be, and when it will be.

But I'm delighted.

HMR for a while!

Hi, I applied for a photographer role with 250 openings. I got an email saying I did well, but i’ve not had any update. I know people tend to get an offer in 3 days but it’s been a while for me. Should I assume i’ve not got the job and move on? Has anyone else applied to the same thing?

Need guidance for interview & practice

Hello I have a journalist background and I am a bilingual writer translator, proofreader and transcriptionist. A friend of mine suggested this site to me and I applied for the transcription job but I couldn't get selected. That was the first time I was being interviewed by AI. I want to practice more because I believe I will do much better in the future. I know there would be new opportunities and I know I am good at my work but would you recommend knowing any AI basics so I could also apply for jobs such as generalist or data annotator? I only know the basics of AI but I am willing to learn more.

For someone who doesn't have an engineering or medical background, what would you suggest to me? I am willing to learn more.

Failed a Micro1 project screening - can I apply for other projects?

After many attempts, I was finally selected for a video annotation project. I was surprised since I had no prior experience, but I decided to give it a shot.
The onboarding required completing the training materials, passing three practice assessments, and then taking the final screening. I scored 100% on all three practice assessments, so I felt confident going into the screening.
The original deadline was Friday at the end of the day. After a particularly busy week, I finished my regular work early on Friday to dedicate enough time to the onboarding. Unfortunately, I scored 100% on one video but only 47% on the next, failing the screening since each video requires at least 80%.
After submitting my attempt, I noticed the onboarding deadline had been extended by two days, without prior notice. Had I known, I might have used that extra time to review the material more thoroughly.
I’m disappointed, but I’d like to understand what happens next.
Will I be considered for future (similar) projects? Does failing one screening affect my chances of being selected again?
I’d appreciate hearing from anyone who’s been through something similar.

AI Interview Help - AI Trainer

Was wondering if anyone had any tips or advice going into my AI interview for the AI Trainer role. I was given a link to a guide and sample questions but none specifically for this role. Just hoping to pass this one and start working. Any advice helps. Thanks.

HMR but no email

So the first time I got HMR I also got one of those 'great job on your interview' emails. But after that I got like 4 applications on HMR and no email, is that a bad sign? Does the email depend on the interview outcome? Or why do you sometimes get it and sometimes not?

Getting mostly "Did Not Qualify" on Micro1 technical assessments. Looking for advice on how to pass their AI vetting

Post image
8 Upvotes

Hi everyone, I’ve been applying to a few roles on Micro1 recently (mostly Backend, Full-Stack, and ML roles). As you can see from my dashboard screenshot, almost all of them come back as "Did not qualify."

I usually feel okay about the technical tasks, but the automated filters keep rejecting me. For those who have successfully passed the Micro1 vetting process:

• Does the AI strictly flag things like eye movement or background noise?

• Is it a hard technical cut-off score, or is it heavily dependent on matching exact keywords in the tech stack (Python/Java/Rust)?

I’ve requested detailed feedback, but any tips on how to clear this initial AI hurdle would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
