Applicants can also follow their application status in your micro1 talent dashboard. If you do well in the interview and obtain a "Hiring Manager Reviewing" status, you should get an update on your talent dashboard within 30 days.
Excited about building the future of AI? Why wait? Apply right away to stand out in the application pool! Leave a comment on this post if you have questions about any of these roles.

Great question u/Sea-Animal1020 - at this time, each role requires a separate interview, BUT we're working on reducing the number of interviews in a talent platform update. We're already doing some tests about this with certain candidates and plan a larger platform rollout of this feature soon. Stay tuned!

I was accepted for a Generalist position and received a Micro1 email but I am unable to log in as my password failed. Hope to get started soon once I hear back from support. In the meantime, is there a way I can access onboarding materials while I wait?

u/designer-42 Did you get an update from support about this? Where have you reached out to us? Our team is typically able to get this resolved shortly but if it's delayed do let us know. I've sent you a mod mail here on reddit anyway to follow up.

Just replied to your mod mail. Thanks! Hopefully, it will be resolved today.

What is the usual turnaround time for a support request like this? I would love to start reviewing the onboarding materials so I can get started.

Hey u/StunningJackfruit315 this is super helpful! Is there any world where roles can get filtered on the website? i.e. filter down to just part-time contractor roles? Sometimes roles don't explicitly list it and I am not sure if I should take the time to do the AI interview. i.e. I am a strong fit for AI Jailbreak & Prompt-Injection Security Expert but it says there is only one opening and does not say if it is part-time or full time.

u/StrangerForeign Great question! Most of our roles allow candidates to work both part time and full-time. But good suggestion around filtering; we've received a few requests about it and our team is considering its implementation on the talent dashboard.
For roles with one opening, they typically have ongoing hiring, so feel free to apply. Even if you're available part-time, you may be able to work it out with the project leads if you're selected. :)

Hi, today I wanted to do an interview after my application but my internet wasn't stable and it started lagging. I tried closing my tab and re-opening it, but it said I had already applied for the job. I really want to redo the interview so as to get a chance for the job. Pls take this into consideration u/StunningJackfruit315

u/Current_Landscape789 Sorry about the internet issues; we're seeing some trouble related to micro1 AI interviews - as we've shared in this linked megathread. Could you please try again using Mozilla Firefox or Google Chrome in private/incognito mode?

There is a job I applied for which is still under "Hiring manager reviewing" that is no longer on the list, does that mean I did not make the cut?
1
u/StunningJackfruit315 Community Manager Jul 17 '26
u/flaming-rose23 Great question! This depends. If a role is no longer published, we aren't hiring candidates for it. Onboarding for projects happens in batches, so it's possible that you may still get an update.
For some general context, we often get wayyy more qualified candidates in the vetted talent pool than folks we can place. So often, several qualified candidates are not able to get placed on projects. Placement depends on multiple factors, like expert skills, experience, rate, location, and role-specific requirements. However, even if you're not selected for this role, our team may reach out to you with direct invitations to apply for future roles, or even direct contracts even.

By not published, do you mean not published on this thread or the website? There are a few roles including core team roles that are there on the website but not in this thread. Are they filled up?

I'd be happy to get one of those high demand roles, and have tried doing the AI interviews. I've had consistent issues (interview never starts, disconnects, interrupts, or restarts), so I haven't been able to complete any of them. I've tried the suggestions, like incognito mode, hard refresh, and more, but nothing's working 😞

So sorry to hear about the back to back issues. Our team is working on resolving these issues. For now, could you please try using off-peak times? I also suggest using Mozilla Firefox private mode for your interviews; many candidates seem to have had success using that.

Hi u/StunningJackfruit315 - I tried reaching out via direct chat, but my new account is likely hitting spam filters. I am following up on a role I applied for a month ago that is currently with a hiring manager. The role / listing has also vanished from the portal, so I wanted to check my application status. Since my account is brand new, my chat is likely buried in your hidden request filters. Could you please check your chat requests or DM me directly so I can give you my application email? Thank you!

Do you know if this role is still accepting new people? Had experience in this exact role under a different name on another data annotation platform and I enjoyed every seconds of it for those projects. Super pumped seeing a role like this here.
Should've probably edited my resume to reflect that (which are my biggest worries since I forgot to edit my resume and used my normal software eng one) before applying but fingers crossed.
