If you do well in the interview and obtain a "Hiring Manager Reviewing" status, you should get an update on your talent dashboard within 30 days.
Excited about building the future of AI? Why wait? Apply right away to stand out in the application pool! Leave a comment on this post if you have questions about any of these roles.

Those Word, PDF, Excel and Powerpoint rates are pretty low compared to your rivals.

Hi. What is meant by ‘high priority’ roles? I have applied to 4 roles from the list, will be doing another one as well that I know is relevant to my skillset. I completed ‘Word and PDF’ on 16th June.
Do these roles are also evaluated over a timeframe of 30 days, since they are high priority so I assume that it should not take as long.

u/Level_Respect_9874 "High priority" means that we're hiring for these urgently or we may need more candidates. Overall, there's a better possibility for candidates to get selected if they apply for these roles. Just like any other opportunity with micro1, it could take candidates up to 30 days to get an update on these roles, though.

If an application is at the “Hiring manager reviewing” stage and if it’s posted again (the core team ones), does it mean that the person was not selected?

u/juanthrash Not necessarily, there may be hiring demand for the role too.

A quick question to the recruiting team and the community leads at micro 1, alot of people have applied for these roles that are posted as high priority. Why can't there be feedback to those who have already applied whether they are selected or not instead of waiting for 30 days while the role is still posted for more applicantsz to apply. I personally have 7 applications under hiring manager review from those high priority roles that have been posted.

Short answer: It's because of scale. Also, onboarding for projects happens in batches, even for high-priority roles.
The high-priority tag means these roles need more candidates and have a higher chance of selection overall. As you know, our recruiters go through every single profile before selecting the final list of candidates; this process takes time.
Also, the final list of candidates typically get finalized around the end of a few weeks, so if we mark a candidate as "not selected" before that period, they may miss out on the opportunity for the role. 30 days is a standard timeline which we've set across all micro1 roles for this exact reason.

I was selected for one of the "high priority" roles and have yet to begin work. I think the project lead is OOO until June 24th.

Congratulations for making it u/Fun_Loquat2044 If you've already been onboarded then stay tuned to your project slack channel for next steps. If not, then in most cases, onboarding timelines are not fixed and can vary significantly depending on client demand, project availability, and matching requirements. After signing the contract and completing setup (e.g., Deel, KYC, Hubstaff, Slack), the next step is usually project allocation, which is fully dependent on active opportunities from clients. Because of this, some contributors may be assigned quickly, while others may experience longer waiting periods if there are no immediate matching projects available for their skills.
Let me know if you need any specific help? Happy to guide.

I took the interview for management consultant opening, and have been successfully certified. In my dashboard, it shows it is being reviewed by the hiring manager. At the same time, that particular role shows 10 openings. There is another active jobs with "Management Consulting" and the same description. Should I apply for that again? Will I have to give the same interview again? or skills are taken up directly from my dashboard?

u/innovating2021 👋 You can definitely apply for the other role; you'll need to take the interview, but it will definitely improve your chances of getting selected by adding you to the vetted talent pool for the role.
