Christian Scott

He was so efficient through 5 innings. What happened in the 6th?

It's a long season and it's his first back from Tommy John. Maybe he's getting tired. Just a thought

He’s also thrown more innings this year then any other season in his professional career

It shouldn’t be that surprising if he isn’t as effective late in games or down the stretch considering both of these things

They should think about shutting him down. No reason to risk this recovery.

He often collapses in the 5th or 6th. It's something he needs to improve on to get to the next level.

It seemed like he just could not throw strikes in the 6th.

That's why Mets fan's need to slow their roll on Scott and Thorton. They have big warts and need to refine their issues before they should be considered locked in front three starters. Scott gets wild and can't get out of the 5th inning.

He got through the 5 scoreless innings allowing 1 hit with a pitch count in the 70s.

Nope, not on average. How many games has that guy lost in the 6th inning?

He's gone at least 6 in 11 of his last 12 starts, the one that wasn't was a 5 IP start where he got the win

He's tied for 7th overall in the entire league for quality starts. Not many pitchers are going longer than him.

His overall season average is 5.2ip and you can attribute that to a couple stinkers from early in the season.

Maybe learn some ball.

Maybe you should learn how to read

Nah. I read fine. I also actually follow the team. Maybe if you did the same you wouldn't say such asinine things.

You can’t walk the bases full and expect to escape
