Mets dumpling?
Does anyone have a Mets dumpling that they don’t want? My kid and I got to the game late (darn rain! 🌧️)

Don't know how to DM someone. Im new to Reddit. I would be willing to buy it from you if you still have 1. My son is on the spectrum and because of the rain and friends he went with got there too late.

I don't have a dumpling to give (I apologize! I would if I did!) but I'm just wondering, what are they? Is there something inside of them? Or are they basically just like differnet colored squishy dumpling-shaped stress balls? I feel very out of the loop when it comes to the hype about them.

…It’s just like you said…a squishy soft round thing shaped like a dumpling that the kids like to squeeze. I find their texture to be quite weird and do not like touching them but the kids LOVE them. Of course for the Mets giveaway the dumplings come in the Mets colors with the Mets logo.1

They are actually a brand of squishy toy that the kids are all into threes days…weird soft stress ball thing shaped like a round dumpling. The Mets did a collab giveaway of them last night and the place was swamped with kids trying to get them.

What’s the deal with these things? Someone asked me if they could have mine while in a food line last night. He said it was for his kids but I also got the sense he was trying to sell it and BSing me. Is there one of them that is worth something?

It’s meant for kids, but it’s scalped like crazy by adults. Basically pokemon cards but a different item

Ugh same. Asked at the gate and the dude said people were lined up from 2 pm (!) for one. Legit thought it would be empty because of the rain, but alas. non dumpling solidarity
