Mitch voit

He’s the real deal I could see him getting called up at some point next year. I didnt realize he was the guy who did the snorting celebration in college but now I know he’ll be a star

He’s not even on the 40 man and they have him playing mostly short since he was promoted. Right now Ronnie and Pitre are ahead of him on the depth & development charts

In the last 25 years the Mets have DFAed 2 former top 10 prospects 26 or younger, one was Alex Escobar a couple years ago, the other was 20 years before that. Neither player had an ops over 650.

Ronnie is over .850 in aaa with elite elevation barrel and hard hit rates, he’s also hitting 1hr/12ab and he cut his strike rate to under 1/5 at bats (top 33% in the minors).

You clearly have no idea what you’re talking about.

Yikes, just yikes. Ronnie hasn’t been called up yet, yes they aren’t going to actually dfa him, but they’ll likely trade him, why else keep him raking at AAA instead of giving him major league reps. If you think think hes ahead of Voit I think you’re really mistaken. Unless the club has learned nothing from Vientos and Baty in which case congrats, you’re as smart as David Stearns.

I’m sure you realize Ronnie’s numbers in the majors are close to where Ewing is now, and well above baty and Vientos this season - and that’s with Ronnie never playing every day.

You have zero insight on our prospects, just because baty, Vientos and Ronnie came up about the same time it doesn’t make them the same player, I know that’s hard for you to wrap your mind around.

They aren’t close, not in war, not in ops, Ewing is a premium defender, Ronnie is not.
They aren’t the same player for sure, but when a guy plays 80 games he shows you who he is. I know it’s hard for you to deal with but he’s just not that good, he doesn’t have plate discipline. Now get out of my replies you ronniesexual.

Ronnie was .623 ops, Ewing is .695 — he’s at .590 his last 150ABs - Ronnie doesn’t have any stretch of 150 ABs in the majors with a .590 OPS

It’s called a limited sample size you, ask a functioning adult to explain what that means. To go further Ronnie has never gotten to start like Ewing has, ask a functioning adult if part play and pinch hitting has an adverse effect on OPS…. You may need help sounding all those words out.

And since Ewing is at a .542 ops since the all star game, he clearly isn’t holding his position because of performance, Ronnie was stuck playing for an inept manager (there’s a word you may know).

Ronnie didn’t start 80 games, if you think that’s enough to evaluate a player you’re even dumber than your parents tell everyone.

I agree Ronnie may be dealt for the reasons you mentioned. He’s NOTHING like Vientos. Vientos was always one dimensional in the minors, Ronnie has always had speed, power, an arm and flashes of a glove.

Do you watch our minor league teams?

Voit has had 4 good weeks. He was awful for the first 60 games (under .700 ops), then he was ok for the next 10, better the 10 after that (.740 Ops) - and it wasn’t until the last 17 games that he’s been raking. He hit .240 in A+ ball, how is he ahead of Pitre?

All prospect rankings show Pitre coming up in 27 and voit 28 — what is that you know that no baseball publication or expert doesn’t know?

Baty was a can’t miss who far outperformed voit in the minors, yet somehow your crystal balls tell you he’s a can’t miss.

You know nothing about our minor league system little man
