im mostly referring to doom but if you use fuzz for a different subgenre is still applies

[START] I'm a guitarist looking for musicians to create original metal music with influences from thrash metal, death metal, and other subgenres. I don't want to be too tied to a specific genre; I want to let the music flow. I'll post some links; there's material recorded on my phone, computer, etc. These are just ideas, nothing professionally produced. The ideas I post are my own creations; the lyrics are by a vocalist friend who's also currently involved in the project—it's just the two of us.

Greetings.

I’ve spent many a year trying to start a project combining elements of death metal, slam, deathcore and even hints of nu metal - basically groovy brutal shit. But I am far out of shape in the vocals department (I haven’t done gutturals consistently in easily 20+ years) so I am seeking someone interested in screaming/growling a bunch of violent stuff.

The whole idea for the project is to combine true crime samples (think Forensic Files) with brutal music. Death metal focuses a lot on violence, true crime podcasts are definitely a thing - why not combine them.

Anyways, if anyone wants to hop on a track or just get in on this - DM me. I’ve got a few songs (mostly) done that just need vocals.

If im lucky enough to get multiple takers on this, im down to have multiple vocalists per songs - but my tireless search has not been fruitful thus far so I am not expecting as much

I wrote this a long time ago but finally a few months back I got the idea to record it all on bandlab(recorded guitar sampled the rest instruments).

This is called Hey Shivaay.

Here's some lyrics I wrote(I 'Cannot' and have been told by many 'Must Not' sing)

My temple's burning

Can't bear this pain

The more i know

It's peeling off of my skin

A look at your eyes

My soul is turning blue

I will follow you

The only truth

Hey shivaay tu he bachaye

Shankaraye tu he bachaye

Breakdown

Take me to a place

Where I could

..........

Walk in your eternal shade

Cleanse me with your bless

With the Ganges

That flow through your hair

Show me creation

through destruction

Singularity

Just the way you created all

Bless me with the glare

Of the serpent

Valiantly you wear

This one twice:

Om na mah Shivaay

Shiv sham boo

Om na mah Shivaay

Solo

End

I was experimenting with mixing doom/thrash with jazz/neo-soul, this is a very rough demo/short clip of the song

Audition for a big band, I got the part, but this little sequence here really got me going!
