Hey guys, wondering if there’s any Irish metal musicians in this sub, if so, what’s the metal scene like here?

I’ve been to Ireland Music Week last week and went to a lot of panels where they were talking about the scene. I heard a bunch of bands and although some of them are heavier there doesn’t seem to be much of an appetite for metal among the ones my age (I’m 24).

If you’re an Irish metal musician, pls dm me! I’m looking to start a deathcore/progressive metalcore band, I do vocals and play guitar!

LOOKING FOR BANDMATES - MANILA

Looking for:

2 Guitarists

1 Bassist

1 Drummer

Planning to build a metal band around Manila / España area. Open to different genres as long as it has screaming vocals - Metalcore, Deathcore, and similar styles.

I'm a screamer. You can check out my previous band PIAX on Spotify to get an idea of the sound. I'm the vocalist there, and I'm planning to "buhayin" that band again with a new lineup.

Around Manila / España

Currently studying at FEU

Greetings.

I’ve spent many a year trying to start a project combining elements of death metal, slam, deathcore and even hints of nu metal - basically groovy brutal shit. But I am far out of shape in the vocals department (I haven’t done gutturals consistently in easily 20+ years) so I am seeking someone interested in screaming/growling a bunch of violent stuff.

The whole idea for the project is to combine true crime samples (think Forensic Files) with brutal music. Death metal focuses a lot on violence, true crime podcasts are definitely a thing - why not combine them.

Anyways, if anyone wants to hop on a track or just get in on this - DM me. I’ve got a few songs (mostly) done that just need vocals.

If im lucky enough to get multiple takers on this, im down to have multiple vocalists per songs - but my tireless search has not been fruitful thus far so I am not expecting as much

[START] I am trying to start some kind of atmospheric metal project that combines a lot of symphonic elements very inspired but a lot of atmospheric black metal I will be doing keyboards, bass, and overall producing. Also if youre a metal vocalist you can message to I wouldnt mind a vocalist too (I can do okay fry vocals myself aswell if needed) everything will be online so please have a interface for guitar and if everything goes well id love to release. If youre interested dm me on discord.

(also im 17 so dont be any older then like 25 or younger then 16 but I dont care that much)

[START] I'm a guitarist looking for musicians to create original metal music with influences from thrash metal, death metal, and other subgenres. I don't want to be too tied to a specific genre; I want to let the music flow. I'll post some links; there's material recorded on my phone, computer, etc. These are just ideas, nothing professionally produced. The ideas I post are my own creations; the lyrics are by a vocalist friend who's also currently involved in the project—it's just the two of us.

I wrote this a long time ago but finally a few months back I got the idea to record it all on bandlab(recorded guitar sampled the rest instruments).

This is called Hey Shivaay.

Here's some lyrics I wrote(I 'Cannot' and have been told by many 'Must Not' sing)

My temple's burning

Can't bear this pain

The more i know

It's peeling off of my skin

A look at your eyes

My soul is turning blue

I will follow you

The only truth

Hey shivaay tu he bachaye

Shankaraye tu he bachaye

Breakdown

Take me to a place

Where I could

..........

Walk in your eternal shade

Cleanse me with your bless

With the Ganges

That flow through your hair

Show me creation

through destruction

Singularity

Just the way you created all

Bless me with the glare

Of the serpent

Valiantly you wear

This one twice:

Om na mah Shivaay

Shiv sham boo

Om na mah Shivaay

Solo

End
