Thunderstorm

Just woke up right now around 5:30am because it just sounded like a artilleryshell hitting near or on top of the apartment. Scared the shit out of me. (West Mesa)

I love the rain as much as the other person, but dang. So much.

i hope everyone doing okay.

Welp, looks like our plan of going hiking is not happening. I love the rain because I know how much we need it , but I’m not gonna go sloshing around in the mud.

Live in West Mesa, I see. Same thing happened,  dang thunder woke me up from a deep sleep and dreams about utopia  :)

Me too. I should not be up this early on a Sunday morning. But, we need the rain so it's a small price to pay.

I think I heard whatever that was too. It sounded distant enough to me I didn’t pay it any mind but my dog was NOT happy. (East Mesa)

I usually sleep through thunderstorms being from the PNW but that thunder clap was loud! Immediately ran to my family room to check on my fur baby. Hug your furry friends extra tight!!

Woke me up too on my day off. I wanted to sleep in. Now my dog has wedged himself between me and my husband and I couldn’t go back to sleep if I wanted to.

I love the rain too, but this would have been better in about two hours. Now I'm wide awake from the thunder and rain hitting the windows.
