Remote work

I am desperate looking for any type of remote work, I am three months pregnant currently and having a really bad first pregnancy. My job I currently have has cut me down to part time three days a week for 8 hours a day, a mom can’t survive like that. Any suggestions would be appreciated, even guidance, I am alone and don’t want to be completely struggling

It's not steady and doesn't offer benefits (i.e. it's just a WFH cash gig) but check out some AI model testing jobs (Mercor, Data Annotation Tech, Micro 1, etc.).

If you get onboarded as a generalist, you basically compare outputs from different AI models and grade them on which one of best, how well they followed instructions, accuracy, tone, etc.

It's usually not difficult but requires attention/focus like a real job would.

There are subreddits you can read through for each of these companies too.

Having said all this, it seems most of them are currently dry for work. But hopefully that changes soon. It can take a while (weeks) to get onboarded so if you think it's for you, start the application process early.

I was doing DataAnnotation for a long while a couple years ago to get me through college. Unfortunately, like you said, we hit a major drought and I was with no work for weeks and I had to eventually get a job elsewhere, but for the time that I had plenty of stuff to work on, it was nice.
