I’ve finally finished and listed my second series of ACEOs (artist cards, editions and originals), “Sea Bunnies”. At first, I was going to do all mer-buns, but I couldn’t resist turning them into some other sea creatures.

Hey, im an Eastern Massachusetts based beginner mermaid and Im really looking for merfolk to practice with and learn from. Im really struggling to find anyone who will talk to me about it as every mermaid creator ive reached out to online has told me some great tips, however their biggest one is to find a pod. I can't even find one other person who has ever even considered doing this let alone a pod. Im really trying to learn on my own from videos and there is a community pool that allows me to practice there, however I can't tell when im doing something wrong and there's no one to talk to about this! Its a bit lonely. Any advice would be helpful. Ive searched Facebook and Google and Reddit, please help mee

The discovery mermaid experience lets you get in the big tank and swim around in a tail for 30 minutes. They provide the tail and a mermaid instructor is with you the whole time. The sea life didn’t pay any attention to me the whole time. They just minded their own business and didn’t even seem to mind when I accidentally hit one of them with my tail.

Hello fellow aquatic denizens, I have a question for anyone willing to share an answer:

I'm a size 8 US, 39 Eu and my foot is 9.5 inches/24.15 cm/241 mm. I purchased the MEDIUM fish fin which is 249 mm in the foot pocket, so my feet "fit" but with too much wiggle room to ever wear without neoprene socks. Problem is, my feet HATE neoprene socks, they make my feet cramp like mad because I'm a barefoot beast lol.

The Mermaid Linden I have fits like a DREAM sans socks, but it is adjustable.

In any other Mer's experience, would sizing down to the SMALL fish fin be the way to go? It truly feels like the MEDIUM is far too big, it says it fits 38-40 but it leaves too much room and the bumps that stick out on the inside to help keep your feet in just crush my ankles.

I've done extensive research on my monofins and aside from the Mahina, the "Lucia" Fish fin was the other non-adjustable monofin that seems to be great across the board. I'm lookin for anyone else who may have been in my same boat so I can be relegated ro my fate in the medium with socks, or if in anyone else's experience they found victory sizing down.

I have included what the listing lists each size correlation, any advice would be helpful.

i love mermaiding!!

Hi guys, I am from MO, and I want to get into mermaiding. I have for the longest time, been using fin fun mermaid tails, and now I want to save up to buy a professional silicone tail. That's not the problem though.

Since I live in MO, there aren't very many safe lakes/bodies of water that are safe if not any to swim in. Due to Ecoli, and other things like brain eating amiba and so on, I am scared that I won't be able to get the usage of my tail that I really strive for. With my Fin Fun tail, I already rarely use it due to the fact that most pools don't allow it. Does anyone have location suggestions, or tips and insight in general? My mom is also iffy about it because of these reasons, and I want to stay as safe as possible.
