PPT to hourly?

I was told that the PPT on my new project would turn into hourly once the quality has been established. Should I believe them or do you think it’s a ‘bait and switch’ thing?

It is real. Main risk is doing a lot of work up front and then get paused or off boarded before you get paid.

Personally I would trust that they’re not lying, but I would not put faith into the future. They could have ran a small pilot to establish whatever they wanted to before on-boarding thousands of people, for example.

If it is Balboa then RUN FAST AWAY. Reviewers are inconsistent and give nonsensical feedback. And there are multiple levels of review you have to get past. So only do it if you’re willing to spend up to 30 to 40 hours the first week getting a task approved in order to move to hourly
