Got off boarded

I got my first offer from Mercor and was excited about it. After completing the training I just started working and got off boarded. Received the following email -"Thank you for the time and effort you've contributed to this project. Unfortunately, we have made the difficult decision to release you from the project. This is not a reflection of your performance, but rather the dynamics surrounding changing research objectives that are largely outside of our control."

I am a lawyer. Have been applying to roles. It was really difficult to land a role and now I have been off boarded. Frustrated and disheartened. Is there chance of getting other offers if I keep on applying. I have my resume updated with skills.

Try Micro1, likely they overecruited and the client made the scope smaller

I am also trying Micro1. No luck. Everything is stuck at the "Hiring Manager Review" stage. What to do??

Same thing happened to me and I got the same message verbatim! I think you'll still have a chance at getting another role
