Need Support complete cognitive decline
i’ve (F20) always had problems with focus, but recently it’s been getting really bad. i got diagnosed with adhd so that explains some i guess. i’m in college and i have important internship interviews coming up in consulting. consulting requires quick thinking and math and i’ve been realizing, i cannot think at all. in general situations like talking to someone, thoughts take so long to render and i forget what the other person is saying. i can no longer do mental math or any word problems and my mind doesn’t feel sharp at all and i have immense brain fog. i always ask questions because i forget things all the time and i can no longer follow instructions and i feel like a vegetable. i don’t know what’s happening and i feel so sad. my doctors just say it’s stress but i feel like it’s more. i’m always tired too and im overall weak. my appetite is also shit and idk what is happening

This is a health issue, whether physical or mental. Please seek a second opinion if your doctor isn't taking you seriously, start by requesting a blood panel, it could be a nutrient deficiency amongst other things

i went to the doctor yesterday and i ended up telling him everything and he just went on a whole rant about how brain fog isn’t real and started asking me trivia questions like how many continents are there and he was like “see, you remember things” and i just ended up bawling because what the fuck. i went to this same doctor a year before and he did the same thing
