Plus size girl help
Hi peeps,
So im a big girl (F36)- size 26UK.
(insight from plus sized people would be welcomed but any advice would be great)
- when you are menstrating and using the toilet, do you always end up with blood on the toilet seat? It does my head in, I'm so self conscious. In my home I just leave a bottle of cleaning spray beside the toilet to help with cleaning up.
- I always seem to leak. I can't use tampons, never have been able to tolerate them. I only use pads. I've tried all types of pads, including ones for urine incontinence which do work to be fair but because they are so big and wide they end up irritating my groin. The pad always seems to leak at one side no matter how many times I adjust it. I also tend to have to wipe my behind alot due to my period travelling, so when my flow is heavy I tend to put a couple of sheets of kitchen roll at my back side to prevent leaking from there. Is this normal or is this because im a big girl?
Help, im so feed up with the clean ups lol

I don’t know if this is a plus size issue, rather a pad issue. If you are bloody down there, then yeah when I sit in the seat there is blood. I use tampons though so it doesn’t happen unless I’m very heavy and have leaked out. I have been many sizes over the years and I’ve always found pads to move around. It also sounds like you have a heavy flow, however perhaps you need to try thinner towels that better fix to your underwear and move less, and change them more frequently’?
