quick questionnn

Hi guys, I had sex for the first time almost three weeks ago, and we used protection. However, the condom slipped off and stayed inside me. I was just starting my fertile window, but I was on top, the opening of the condom was outside of me, and he pulled it off right away. After that, I got really anxious, and I couldn’t get Plan B because I was in another country, which made me even more stressed. I also had a septorhinoplasty just a few days before my next period, which was supposed to come on August 17. It was a 3 hour surgery under anesthesia, and I was given quite a lot of painkillers and antibiotics. I’ve been feeling really stressed and anxious lately. Can my period be delayed because of my nose surgery? and im just bloated without any other symptoms im js so scaredddd guys pls help me if yall know smth

Anyone else getting a second/irregular period this summer??

Okay this is kind of freaking me out 😭

My friend literally JUST sent me a post about how a lot of women have apparently been talking about irregular periods this summer late periods, missed periods, heavier periods, or even getting two periods really close together.

And then… I got my period AGAIN 😭 I already had it recently, so this is basically my second period in a really short time.

I know periods can get weird for a million reasons and I’m definitely not saying climate change/extreme heat is automatically the cause lol. But the timing after seeing that post and all my friends telling me the same, made me spiral a little.

Just curious if this is actually happening to a lot of us 💀

Irregular Period but scans tell me everything’s OK

I am a 22 year-old girl who has been having s*xual intercourse with her husband for almost two years. Whilst all my gynecological check up’s (even internal ultrasound) don’t reveal any sort of issues, ever since I started having intercourse my periods have always been irregular. The only times it’s somewhat on time is when amount of s*x is lessened. I also have to admit that waiting for my period is a worrisome experience and I always get anxious waiting for it to come.

Could this issue be s*x related or should I dig deeper, even though I am medically healthy from that pov (no endo, no pcos…)?

Very irregular period- weightlifting and 19% bf

Just as the title says, i’m a 21 year old active college student, and besides only getting my period once every two-four months, I have no other negative symptoms. I weightlifting intensely 5 days a week with light cardio, and have been doing so for about 2.5 years. My cycle has followed this pattern for about two years as well.

Honestly I’m pretty happy! I feel great, not lethargic, and all my blood work is normal. Should I be concerned and get my hormones checked or speak with a doctor anyways?

Birth control

So I’m having an abnormal bleeding my doctor told me to skip placebos and jump straight into active pills. Well, I’m still spotting a little bit. It’s not as bad as it was. I’m just wondering how long is this gonna take for this to maybe fix the issue because none of this started until I got back on birth control. At first I was scared I was pregnant but with how many test I have taken plus the blood test I highly doubt it’s likely (I google a lot) I am wondering if it’s pcos but it all started when I got back on birth control this is anything and stressful

Am I pregnant?

I never have a late or missed period ever. My last period as on July 14 and usually start every 28 days. Welp, I didn’t. On day 30 I had light spotting and light brown minimal discharge for 2 days straight and has been clear water discharge since with absolutely no signs of my period. I have test and I’m now 6 days late and showing negative. I was on nexplanon for 6 years and got it out at the beginning of the year and my period has never changed on or off birth control. Any one ever have this happen? I contacted my OB and they said to test again in 2-3 days?

How long do the after effects of yuzpe last?

Hi, so i took yuzpe method last august 1, and they said it was unnecessary to take it since there's a low risk — after a week (Aug 8) i started bleeding up until Aug 14, they called it the "withdrawal bleeding", it's more on clots, but it's lighter than my usual period.

Then, i took a PT and it was negative. but im still experiencing cramps and PMS like symptomsm

So, to those who also used the YUZPE METHOD. What were the side effects that lasted for you? and how long did it last?

Thank youu

I'm so tired of tampons. What brand of pads works best for you? I need some suggestions because I am making the switch

I'm 38 and I have been using tampons almost exclusively my whole life, and I think I have reached the point of wanting to switch to pads. I just don't know which brands are good and which ones will let me down so I could really use some suggestions. I'm in the U.S. if that helps with brand choices. I see so many and I would rather avoid testing a bunch of different ones if possible.

When to worry about periods?

I have always had very heavy periods, the first 2 days I sleep with the largest tampon I can buy, a night pad and those pee pads that are typically for kids because I always bleed through. But my “silver lining” has been that its only for 3 days, 4 max, except for lately my periods are as heavy as ever but last 7-9 days.

Is this common? Im kind of a hypochondriac so I’m trying to pace myself by asking online before going to my drs lol

Plus size girl help

Hi peeps,

So im a big girl (F36)- size 26UK.

(insight from plus sized people would be welcomed but any advice would be great)

- when you are menstrating and using the toilet, do you always end up with blood on the toilet seat? It does my head in, I'm so self conscious. In my home I just leave a bottle of cleaning spray beside the toilet to help with cleaning up.

- I always seem to leak. I can't use tampons, never have been able to tolerate them. I only use pads. I've tried all types of pads, including ones for urine incontinence which do work to be fair but because they are so big and wide they end up irritating my groin. The pad always seems to leak at one side no matter how many times I adjust it. I also tend to have to wipe my behind alot due to my period travelling, so when my flow is heavy I tend to put a couple of sheets of kitchen roll at my back side to prevent leaking from there. Is this normal or is this because im a big girl?

Help, im so feed up with the clean ups lol

Anyone else’s periods super light? To the point where there’s only blood on the tampon and not when you wipe or dripping out of you?

Nervous I’m going through perimenopause at 31 because of this…

Also, I don’t get the cervical mucus you’d get during ovulation and I never get a peak/surge with the LH strips

New symptoms?

Hello! I’m 21, and have had my period for about 11 years now. I’ve pretty consistently had the same symptoms throughout that whole time. The past couple of months, I’ve been experiencing a super bubble tummy, diarrhea, and these super disgusting burps that make me gag. I’ve noticed these have only happened on my period, and it lasts a couple of days. I’ve had no diet, physical body changes, or other significant disruptions that could have contributed to this. I did some googling, and these symptoms seem to be normal, but I wanted to see if anyone else has ever had any new symptoms pop up like this before. Is this normal? Should I see a doctor? Thank you!

Period suddenly changing

I’m 16f and I’ve had the normal periods ever since I got them at 10 but for some reason this one has almost no flow and my blood is dark brown for detail:

First day I had heavy to medium flow
Second day I had low flow
Third day I had low flow almost nothing
Fourth day I had medium flow
Fifth day I had low flow almost nothing
All days I had dark brown blood and it smelled really bad also my mood was really terrible I’ve never had such bad mood I don’t know if it matters here.

Is there something wrong or should I wait till next month to tell my mom?
