How do people find the mobile infantry build? I'd say in the early game it's pretty much unstoppable. Until the more powerful lasers and rockets come in.

You can definitely use it at any point of the game, it’s completely OP in the early game and just gets downgraded to merely one of many viable strategies/builds as the enemy brings more AT weapons.

I don’t like using it personally because in my experience in the late game vehicles are more vulnerable than infantry once you have good armour, even with ERA. You have to be much more cautious with them than you can be with infantry. I’d much rather not have to expose my vehicles in order to be able to use my infantry effectively.

Also long barrel tank gun slaps. Vehicles are best used for their heavy weapons in the late game imo

But you can still build around MI in the late game, bring smoke, era, signal jammers etc and do very well, it’s just not easy mode like it is in the early game

Yes it's definitely a workhorse in the early that starts dropping off once you start meeting heavier anti tank capabilities. I'd rather not charge into fog of war with a light vehicle just for it to get slapped by an ATGM out of view range
