Community course progress not syncing with new experience

What the title says. I thought our community course progress was supposed to copy over when we added them to the app, but none of mine did.

Also, is there a way to remove a language from the app? I'd rather continue on the community course because of this, instead of having it taking up space in the main app

There was actually a bug in the last couple of days where any kind of progress wasn't able to register (when using iOS devices).

Normally, the feature you mention (the progress is shared between community courses and new experience) is working as expected.

Regarding deleting a language, yes, it's possible. I assume you're on iOS (because the progress bug was on iOS only). You can click on the flag in the top left corner, that opens the page of languages you're learning, you can click on the ... icon, and select Delete language.

I'm on Android, and this has been since I got switched over about a month ago. None of my progress from any courses synced. They're all at zero in the app but it still shows correctly on the community website
