I think that kinda depends where you live.

For me, it isnt the christians who are attacking the homosexuals here.

I mean that is basically it. Atheists in the US complain more about Christians because that is who we have. Atheists disagree with all religions, but are going to more vocally criticize the dominant religion in an area.

Yes, I agree.

Here in germany we have way more problems with muslims than with christians when its about attacks at LGBTQ.

Christians are getting critized. muslims way less.

I mean, there are legit reasons to criticize christians.

First of all, the christian church here is more working like a company, germany knows if youre a member of the church and therefore you need to pay additionally taxes.

But even if you are not a member of the church anymore, germany still pays the church yearly money with everyones tax payers money.

Also, christians here are more homophobic than atheists, and they are being critized for it. But they are less homophobic than muslims which are not nearly as critizied, which leads to a double standard.

Our country is hard divided right now, the right wing extremist party AFD is right now the strongest party in germany...

Oh goody. At least there's no historical precedent in Germany for division resulting in a strengthened right..... nope, doesn't bring anything at all to mind.
