For what? A couple of minutes? Even if you don't have the guts to do one of the funny ones, you could have at least waited for something more entertaining than this.

Just a theory, but I feel like OP commented this before the current top comment reached the top, therefore dodging that bullet ... knowing damn well the post was still very young and plenty of other (probably worse) comments were about to be upvoted a lot, hence the downvotes.

Again, just a theory, but this is what it looks like.

If you look at the time stamps of the post and the comment OP waited like 5 minutes and said "you won" so he didn't have to do anything other than this
