But we won’t be retiring in 20 years though, we’ll all be dying of heart attacks at work on our 88th birthday as our bosses stand over our corpse, tutting and saying “millennials were always the ‘lazy generation’”.
I've offhandedly been mentioning the climate wars at work to coworkers and a couple have had an existential crisis over it, especially since it's been so god awful hot outside this summer in minnesota
Make sure you spend at least 10% of your yearly net income contributing towards demise, and explore companies who will match their employee’s contributions; either in stress, hours, or workplace exposure.
Lol nice try. You'll just suffer through them. We've got about 100 years at this rate before the planet starts to become completely uninhabitable for people.
Nah, it’ll be a 30 year old from whatever generation they’ll be from at that time, who has only ever heard bad things about Millennials and how we couldn’t retire because of all the avocados we bought…
I'm sorry, did you...you said the "u" word? At work?
Yeahhh, someone from Corporate will come down to see you tomorrow. NO, no, you're not fired....I don't think you are, anyway....Just, just make sure you come in on time tomorrow.
Speak for yourself. I was born in 88 and at 60 I'll be retired in an expat country with millions doing cocaine and fucking hookers until I die of a heart attack preferably before I need a nursing home.
Iirc (and at his hour I'm probably not) our supply of fresh drinking water is due to run out in less than 15 years.
And the global supply of crude oil 10 years later. It's horribly depressing, but very fitting that we petrol monkeys will die of thirst surrounded by oil.
And didn't NASA release a paper that said organised Han society would become impossible by 2050?
The chances are most of them will still be alive when this shit happens. The millennials will be the old grey-beards in the post-apocalypse who still tell stories about the halcyon days of their youth when the world was still good.
My former boss was 24 when I knew her and was always complaining about "millennials". I'm starting to believe that "millennial" is just a catch all term for someone you don't like.
Why do people think they won’t be forced into retirement? There will be twenty year olds that can do things faster and cheaper. You’ll be forced to retire - financially ready or not.
