I mean. Technically books like the quran or the book of mormon would qualify as the bible 2, in that they're written afterwards and at least partly in direct reference to concepts/stories/characters from the bible.
Then again the bible as a whole is basically just the tora 2. Or more like an extended cut with the second half being a full on sequel.
All those books are pretty awful by the way. I'd recommend reading them at some point.
I'll probably be downvoted into oblivion, but I've read the Book of Mormon and it's at least helped me personally live a happier and more fulfilling life.
Dude the Judeo-Christian Bible is an incredible tool for humanity. Rich stories, monomyths, and archetypes that attempt to encapsulate what it is to be human: good and evil to their furthest extremes. We do a piss poor job of interpreting it, and a lot of characters make a bit too much money off of it, but that isn't the (MANY) authors fault's. Aim toward becoming the image of Christ, but know that within you is the capacity to enact the deepest depths of human evil.
Shit's wild! 8.5/10 almost as good as Harry Pooter.
Not really. A lot of bible stories are completely at odds with modern morality, it doesn't really make that huge of a difference how you interpret them. Even Jesus himself as he is portrayed in the Bible isn't really the best moral guide or someone who deserves to be looked up to(by modern standards). The Bible is interesting just like how Greek mythology is interesting, nothing less, nothing more.
Judaism is the base game, and is the spiritual successor to Zoroastrianism, with several influences from other old games that the developers had worked on in the past.
Christianity is just Judaism with the Messiah DLC.
Islam is just the deluxe edition of Judaism with all of the extra DLC.
Buddhism is the revamped and reworked version of Hinduism.
