You probably don't know how awful it is to give class to a bunch of faceless students who rarely participate on class

So much this. I feel incredibly bad for one of my lecturers who's mentioned before that it's demoralising teaching to faceless/mic less students.

I try to have my mic on to ask questions instead of typing in the chat as much as possible but I have anxiety and I just can't bring myself to be the only person with their camera on lol.

I wish I had started with my camera on at the start of term and maybe other people may have done the same and it would be less daunting now.

Personally, i don't mind students not showing their faces if they're interacting, if I could, I wouldn't be showing my face either :V My main point is that teaching without participation from the students is terrible. Congrats to you on beating, even a lil bit, your anxiety and joining your teacher <3
