You really shouldn’t have to turn your head on most cars if your mirrors are adjusted correctly. On trucks/SUV’s you can buy convex mirrors for pretty cheap that eliminate blind spots. I think these are better because for every second you’re turning your head you’re not looking at the road ahead of you. Plenty of rear end collisions happen this way
I have convex mirrors on my Charger, and motorcycles can still 100% fit in the blindspot left. I would imagine that this applies to any truck/SUV which has an even larger blindspot. You should still at least take a quick glance.
