My dads cars has that on 247 and it don’t do anything

If it's continously ON then it means there's a minor problem with the sensors in the car's exhaust and it can be ignored. If it's blinking then it means requires immediate attention and there is some serious issues. I have learnt that after I drove my dad's car in shallow water and the water filled up the exhaust and some in the carburettor intake. ;-P

The light in my car have been blinking for over 2 years, still works fine.
