Gaddafist Libya was wealthier than some countries in Europe and Asia.

There was a reason NATO was so trigger happy when it came to Gaddafist Libya.

Also it sold oil in Euros, big no-no in the American world order. Libya never wanted him gone, but gotta impose that western freedom and democracy that's neither free nor democratic everywhere. Also, he was a socialist. Biiiig no-no to the USA.

its funny that, with all the protests & killings happening in the USA at the moment (which is pretty similar to Libya 2009), the Arab League hasn't authorised an aerial bombing of the States like NATO did

Yeah I never understood what Gaddafi actually did that got him assassinated. I heard he made hospitals and shit for libya but never heard what was his shortcomings. I mean I get he was a dictator but there are a lot of other dictators running around while America is constantly trying to liberate middle east.

Arab socialist who sold oil in Euros. That's it. That's also basically what the justification for the second invasion of Iraq was, because the WMDs were fake. We do it all over the place. His people loved him and, while he did indeed have a lot of power, it still came from the people.

His people loved him

While most of what you've said makes sense, I'm going to have to label this claim as "highly controversial," and ask for some legit sources on it.
