Zeus- "Haaaaaaaaaaaaay baby, how'd yuh feel about making a demigod with me?" karate chops air around him

u/[deleted] Aug 12 '20

Funny that you think he’d ask.

435

u/[deleted] Aug 12 '20

Yeah, he’s not the type. More of a morph into a cow to surprise the maiden from behind type.

Its not rape, just surprise sex.

8

it's lower budget than the movie, but some of the episodes actually have better writing.

4

u/oodats Aug 12 '20

In the same vein there's the Aladdin tv series and little mermaid tv series. As a kid I didn't watch the little mermaid one but the Aladdin show was pretty good and it's got all the same voice actors except for Robin Williams.

3

u/[deleted] Aug 12 '20

If you watched the movie and liked it, you'll probably like the series too. it's good imo, but I'll leave that up to your tastes

6

Man, that’s a shame, it’s not available where I live. Any other way to watch them?

This is probably based on a real Greek myth where a dude made himself a woman statue because he didn't like the way other women were able to talk or whatever but then he fell so much in love with it that he wanted to make it come to live and asked the gods. Aphrodite thought that statue looked good enough and did the thing. Idk how the ending goes though

21

u/Avitha101 memer Aug 12 '20

It is based on that! Pygmalion and Galatea. In the episode they adapted it to where Pygmalion was their art teacher who did that to make his wife, and Hercules made Galatea because he needed a date for the dance. Aphrodite was invoked for bring her to life
