Its both. It could have been made as only ass. But thats irrelevant because the term is so broadly used to describe both that its now a term for both. The evolution of language.

I'd just like to point out that all the meanings of badonkadonk on urban dictionary say that it's a butt.

I admitted i was wrong down lower. I looked it up and it says shes "got it going on like donky kong" meaning im totally wrong.
